Located in a unique riverside Genil and inside the monastery of the same name, Hotel Macia Monasterio de los Basilios was built on the former “Morabito” (chapel depopulated field where attending Muslim prayer) in the 1616 by Bohorquez family, Marquesses of Trujillo.

The Hotel is only 5 minutes from Convention Centre and 10 minutes from Historic Center of the city and Science Park , and is well connected to the Alhambra by city bus lines with a frequency of 10 minutes.

The rooms have TV, telephone, air conditioning / heating and dryer in the bathroom. Guests also have free internet access with Wi-Fi service. There is also a laundry service and parking public 40 meters from the hotel.

The Restaurant is located in the old Refectory the monastery and retains the same magnificent coffered ceiling. There you can enjoy the excellent Mediterranean cuisine while enjoying an architectural gem that has endured through the centuries.

The hotel entrance gives way to the old cloister of the building, which has been kept in its original structure so that entry into it is amazing.

This and also the possibility of holding any event (communion , baptism, wedding …) either in the restaurant or in the Refectory beautiful courtyard of the cloister.
